I wanted to extend my bike trailer so I could fit those 102 liter totes that all the hardware stores sell. The brackets just move the rear bar backwards 5cm so that it fits. I also put a slot in the left bracket that allows a Samsung Smart Tag to be hidden.
3D Printing
The normal version of the bracket prints without any supports but the smart tag version needs some for the cantilever bit on the front since it can’t bridge across the first bit. I printed the final version in PETG which caused it to shrink a bit and smart tag was a little tight so I tied a string around it to help get it out in the future. I added an extra 0.2mm tolerance after so future prints should fit well.
